From the Municipal Government are reminded that Lorca has to date with the best youth equipment in its history thanks to the Young Space M13 which includes a shelter for 34 people, multipurpose room, meeting room, Youth Information Point, etc.
The deputy speaker of the Municipal Government Team, Fátima Mínguez, wanted to respond to the proposals made by the PSOE on the future use of the former Police Station, located in the Plaza de San Vicente.
In this sense, Mínguez thanked today's proposal, but advised them to specify "what is the project for which they bet, because each quarter they surprise us with a new idea." Or they believe that space occupies a lot more surface than it really has or is about hollow proposals fruit of improvisation looking only to fill press releases ".
Thus, Mínguez recalled that "they first proposed an office to renew the DNI, last November a multipurpose center had to be built, in June the proposal was to house municipal offices, now a youth center, to see what to do next time. On the part of the Government Team we believe that strategic projects can not respond to the "genius" of each day, but we must work with patience and after a positive dialogue and consensus with the social, cultural and commercial fabric of the municipality so that the investments respond to the needs of Lorca and Lorca. "
The deputy spokesperson wanted to take this opportunity to remember that "Lorca has today the best youth equipment in its history thanks to Espacio Joven M13, a youth resource center next to the University Campus of Lorca that offers, among other facilities, a multipurpose room , playroom, study room, meeting room, office-kitchen, spaces for the Council of Youth of Lorca and Intercultural Cazalla, an Information Point of the Youth Council and a youth hostel with a capacity of 34 seats.
