The project is paralyzed due to the difficulties that the winning company has found in the project that left the previous administration, governed by the Popular Party.

The Senator of the PSOE for the Region of Murcia, attached to the Justice Committee in the Senate, Juan Luis Soto Burillo has assured that the Government of Spain is working to implement "as soon as possible" the construction of the Palace of Justice of Lorca.
Currently, the project is "paralyzed" by the winning company, which has "detected" problems in the project awarded by the previous state administration, governed by the Popular Party.
Soto Burillo has assured that it is "surprising" that those who have generated all the problems that keep this project paralyzed, are the same ones who now hurry and demand that it be solved, blaming the current administration.
"We are talking about a project of works, approved by the Popular Party, a contract, awarded by the Popular Party, in which the contractor has found a series of technical problems that prevent him from starting the work."
"The delay, therefore, is the responsibility of the company and arises from the defects that have been found in the project," he says.
The Government of Spain is working, doing everything in its power, to be able to launch the works of the Palace of Justice as soon as possible.
"The Government is sensitive to the need of the city of Lorca, and above all, of the professionals of the Justice that can count as soon as possible with these infrastructures, indispensable to improve the attention given to the citizen and meet this historical demand that, without a doubt, will be a before and after in the work of the professionals of the Justice ".
