The Mayor urges the Government of Spain to stop asking those affected by the earthquakes to pay interest on the aid (16/11/2018)

Fulgencio Gil: "The foreclosures that are taking place over the last few days are the fault of the Government of Spain, all they have to do is sign the Proposition of Law that they have on the table."

The mayor of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, has demanded that the Government of Spain immediately stop the embargoes that it is provoking by not yet giving up its share of the interests of the aid given to those who suffered the earthquakes.

Despite the insistence of those affected, with the backing of the City Council and the Regional Government, we have been waiting for months to forgive this money, but there is no way.

The First Edil has demanded that the Lorca be respected, that my people be observed.

That is why I demand from the Government of Spain the same thing that I demanded from the Regional Government a few days ago.

It is something that we have been demanding too much time, but at this point I have no choice but to publicly show my concern and alarm about this issue, which, moreover, is "adorned" by some statements launched from the PSOE with a high degree of folly in those that try to confuse people.

The embargoes that are taking place over the past few days are the sole fault of the Government of Spain. "

Fulgencio Gil has urged the Government of Spain to expedite and endorse the approval of the Proposed Law that has already been presented at the Congress of Deputies for the State to do the same as did the Autonomous Community, forgiving the part of the money that they are responsible for these aids to those affected by earthquakes.

The Government of Pedro Sanchez has to meet the Lorca, and out of irresponsibility and chaos.

The Mayor has stressed that administrations have to meet citizens and solve their problems.

So far they have been 5 months without giving up this money, without really helping those affected, and they have to keep their word.

The CARM condoned this income legislation, so the central administration has to do the same, and today better than tomorrow.

Lorca want an administrative resolution signed by the government of Spain and we do not deserve more walks, false announcements or postures, when the truth is not fulfilled as promised.

Fulgencio Gil has indicated that "it seems to me of an extreme irresponsibility to be surprised with something that they have caused, it is their fault and their problem, that they put solutions like the CARM did when we demanded it".

Lorca demands the extension of the IBI bonus in 2019 even if there are no budgets

The Mayor of Lorca has anticipated that as this Central Government is showing willing to even submit their own budgets for next year, and continue to govern by Royal Decree, we will demand that, in that case, the corresponding extension decree Include measures to help those affected by the earthquakes of 2011, and in particular, respect the bonus of 50% of the IBI.

I hope that there are no problems to this measure, since we are seeing how they are processing quickly and without problems. Decrees on issues that really interest the current Central Executive.
