More than 20 businesses in the area join the second edition of this campaign through which a chestnut cone will be delivered to each customer who consumes in the area on Saturday morning

The Councilor for Commerce of the City of Lorca, Mari Carmen Ruiz, along with the president of the Regional Union of Merchants, Antonio Martínez Julián, and the president of the Carretera de Águilas Business Area, Antonio Periago, announced the celebration this Saturday of the second edition of the "Tiempo de Castañas" campaign, an initiative that seeks to boost purchases in this commercial space organized by the Department of Commerce, Union of Merchants and Chamber of Commerce.

Ruiz announced that "after the success of last year, this action is reissued, which seeks to foster coexistence among the entrepreneurs of the Area and make themselves known among their customers through a recreational activity so conducive to these days of November in which we face the celebration of San Clemente, bringing uniqueness and suitability to the era ".

Through "Tiempo de Castañas" all customers who consume in any of the commercial establishments of the Carretera de Águilas area on the morning of Saturday, November 17, between 10.30 am and 2 pm, will receive a chestnut cone for free.

More than 20 companies of the Carretera de Águilas Commercial Area have joined the initiative, having acquired fifty hundred kilograms of chestnuts.

The place of celebration of the chestnut will be the parking of the Bar La Báscula, where a tent will be installed so that all customers can pick up their cones.

As last year, the Federation of Women's Organizations of Lorca participates in the initiative with the aim of adding synergies and becoming known as an active and committed association.

The president of the Union of Merchants has stressed that "our collective is always together with positive and generous initiatives, as well as with all those that grant a uniqueness, diversity and expansion of clients for the commerce sector in our municipal area".
