The councilman of Works and Rural Development in the City of Lorca, Angel Mecca, has reported that the Municipal Council has awarded the execution of new actions for the improvement of urban infrastructure and service and service to the citizen, in this case in the districts of Tercia, Almendricos, La Campaña and Higuera Well.

Angel Meca has anticipated that the intervention in this location contemplates, as main issues, proceed to the change of all its floor, covering an approximate area of ​​175 m2, in addition to other aesthetic adjustments.

The councilman of Rural Development has indicated that the local government meeting held last Friday gave the go-ahead to two motions picking up the two projects already mentioned.
The works of arrangement of sidewalks in the crossing and road of Almendricos, as well as in La Campana and Pozo Higuera will involve an investment of 29,470 euros, and will involve the paving of sidewalks in two sections of the aforementioned road, benefiting sensitively to more than half a kilometer of length on which it will be installed, in the case of the RM 620, slab of prefabricated mortar, while on the road that connects the districts of La Campana and Almendricos will be enabled a concrete roof of 602 m2 finished in helicopter and colored.
Ángel Meca explained that these municipal improvement actions are possible thanks to the implementation of the Work Plan in Districts and Districts, recovered by the President of the Regional Government, Fernando López, in order to contribute to the promotion and enhancement of quality of life of neighbors residing in districts.
This plan is a fundamental tool for the improvement of the entire municipality of Lorca, allowing to respond to requests from residents of the councils and neighborhoods.
Through this Plan we are tackling a battery of important and much needed investments such as remodeling of rural roads, improvements in lighting or repairs of various sidewalks.
The mayor of Rural Development has highlighted that these projects are added to a large battery, whose closest example has been the award of the works of arrangement of the street of Schools and the Mural of the People of Coy for 32,800 euros.
This is an intervention that basically includes the resurfacing of this area and the installation of a sanitation collector that will provide coverage to both the school in this district and nearby homes, with a length of 300 meters.
Other outstanding examples have been the construction of a new bridge over the Camino de la Condomina, as well as the improvement and clearing of the Rambla de Canales, entail an investment of 17,260 euros.
