The Spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Diego José Mateos stressed that "today we have reached a fundamental agreement, which we hope will serve to open a new path that has as final the prompt recovery of each and every one of the rights that the Party Popular, has snatched all the Lorca in the field of health.
The plenary monograph that the PSOE has forced to address the serious situation of health in Lorca has ended with a "great agreement" of all political forces with which to claim the Regional Government the "end" of the "obvious discrimination" that keeps against area III, with respect to the rest of health areas, and that have led Lorca to lead "the worst indicators" and, in short, occupy the "tail of the tail" of health in the Region and in the country.

Thanks to the initiative of the PSOE, the Plenary Session of the City of Lorca has reaffirmed the requirement to the Regional Government to materialize, as soon as possible, the reopening in the afternoons of the San Diego health center claimed by the PSOE together with the residents of the neighborhoods affected, as well as the start of the works of adaptation of the pediatric area, in the old emergency rooms.
Similarly, with this agreement, the local PP has recognized "finally" the need to require the Regional Government of Lopez Miras the necessary investments for the health area of ​​Lorca reach the regional average in terms of human resources, technical and materials, and in that way, there is no such "serious fracture" between Lorca and the rest of Murcia.
The plenary monograph of the PSOE has served to re-claim, in addition, the development and implementation of an immediate Shock Plan with public resources aimed at reducing the time on the waiting lists, both for surgical interventions, as for consultations with the specialist and for diagnostic tests.
"This is not the first time we have claimed this Plan, and we will continue to do it until we have obtained the necessary means so that Lorca's health is not put at risk due to the lack of resources that belong to us."
