The PSOE claims in the Plenary Session of the City Council the arrangement of the main access of the school of Zarcilla de Ramos to prevent floods (22/11/2018)

The access to this school suffers floods every time that precipitations take place in this locality, preventing the schooled boys and girls to accede in normal conditions.

"It is a shame that at this time of the century the image when it rains is that of the children jumping over a pallet or in adas so that they can access the school"

The councilor of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, María Ángeles Mazuecos has announced that the Socialist Group will take to the Lorca Plenary the request for arrangement of the entrance to CRA Ginés Arcas Romero of Zarcilla de Ramos as access to the building is impossible every time It rains, due to the accumulation of water.

"The arrangement can not be a patch that is used to make the Popular Party. This school, like the rest, must be well conditioned, providing for all situations that, in terms of mobility and accessibility, all public buildings require" ensures

Mazuecos has shown that for years, parents of students have been claiming the City of Lorca the arrangement of this access, without "nothing has been done to solve this problem."

A request that, in addition, was already transmitted by the Municipal Socialist Group to the Mayor on October 9, because the rains registered at that time caused problems for the educational community of this center.

Recently, on November 12 of this year, the AMPA of the Ginés Arcas Romera School of Zarcilla de Ramos presented several writings addressed to the Department of Education of Lorca, the Department of Development and Infrastructure and the Department of Urban Mobility, requesting the arrangement of the entrance to said center, requesting again the remodeling of the entrance to avoid the accumulation of water in case of rain.

The socialist mayor says it is a "shame" that at this time of the century the image in this school, every time it rains, is that of children having to jump over a wooden pallet, or even carried on a litter so they can access their school.

To put an end to this painful situation, the PSOE, echoing the claims of these fathers and mothers, will take this problem to the next plenary session.

"We want to date this arrangement, and it has to be immediate, as parents, mothers and children need to know with certainty when they are going to solve this problem that affects their day to day."
