The muBBla, Embroidery Museum of El Paso Blanco, will be the first cardioprotected museum in Lorca thanks to the collaboration of the Hospital Virgen del Alcázar, which delivered a semiautomatic defibrillator this morning to the fraternity for use in a public space such as the museum.
Last June, both staff and volunteers of the muBBla were trained thanks to the Department of Emergencies and the Civil Protection team in a course that accredits non-health personnel in the use of defibrillators.
In this way, the staff of the brotherhood was trained in the cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuver and in the use of DESA, and in the Heimlich maneuver to resolve choking.
Thanks to the involvement of the staff of the brotherhood and the Virgen del Alcázar Hospital, the muBBla becomes the first cardioprotected museum in the city, providing greater security to visitors throughout the year and, above all, during Holy Week, that the Santo Domingo Monumental Complex is one of the busiest points during those dates.
