The Governing Board ratifies the dossier for the works to improve the drainage of Rambla Viznaga, in Campillo, as well as the installation of a roof on the Parrilla sports court, and to triple the number of personnel for the care of the green areas.
The Deputy Speaker of the Government Team in the City of Lorca, Fátima Minguez, informed this morning of the main issues that have been addressed in the weekly meeting held by the Governing Board of the Municipal Consistory.
In the chapter on Intervention, a battery of 109 invoices derived from fertilizers made to municipal suppliers for a combined amount of 161,017.21 euros has been approved.
The Urbanism section included the approval of the start of the simplified strategic environmental assessment procedure for the issuance of the strategic environmental report of the dossier related to the progress of the punctual modification number 1 of the Partial Plan sector S-1 a-21 Norte of the Saprelorca polygon.
It is a measure that seeks to streamline and make more flexible the conditions for the urban development of the areas concerned, including technical changes and regulations regarding the location of auxiliary elements.
The Contracting section has considered the approval of the JGL to the award of the contract relating to "Cleaning, maintenance and conservation of green areas in districts."
We are talking about a new commitment of this City Council to improve the services provided throughout our municipality, so that the number of staff is tripled, from the current 3 to 9 workers, leading to a total investment of 370,000 euros.
Mínguez Silvente pointed out that JGL has also awarded new improvement investments in Campillo.
It is a consensual action with neighbors in the periodic work meetings that we have been holding with the different groups and associations of Lorca.
For this purpose, the contracting process and opening of the awarding procedure through an open procedure of the contract for the remodeling and improvement of the channeling of a section of the Viznaga ravine begins.
This work, which is intended to be executed between the Águilas highway and the Purias highway, at the level of the pass over the aforementioned rambla, is intended to help expand the drainage capacity of the channel, including the transfer of the collector that exists in the subsoil of the ravine.
An investment of around € 130,000 has been budgeted.
The Municipal Vice Speaker has anticipated that the necessary works have been approved to equip the parish of Parrilla with a new roof that will be located on the existing sports court, so that neighbors have a multi-use facility better conditioned and whose use does not depend on the inclemencies of the weather.
In this intervention, about 50,000 euros will be invested from the financing of the Regional Government, through the Barrios and Pedanías Plan, recovered by President Fernando López Miras.
The meeting of the JGL has also included express congratulations to two members of the Municipal Emergency Service, an agent of the Local Police and a resident of the neighborhood of La Viña who on the morning of last Friday, November 30, intervened to save the life of a person who had suffered a heart attack in that neighborhood, managing to reanimate and stabilize him, being later transferred to the Rafael Méndez Hospital.
