Mateos has shown his support for the petitions and demands of the collective of workers and cleaning workers of the Lorca hospital and asks that there should be no undesirable strike for all.

The Secretary General of the PSOE, Diego José Mateos has asked the Mayor of Lorca, Gil Jódar and the manager of the health area III, Catalina Lorenzo to mediate between the new external company responsible for the cleaning service to get the labor dispute resolved after the new concessionaire company does not want to ensure the maintenance of the working conditions that these employees have had with the previous company, for more than 16 years.

Mateos has shown his support and "firm and decisive" support towards the requests and demands of the collective of cleaning service workers at Rafael Méndez Hospital.

"Their requests are logical and common sense, and even more so considering that for the past 16 years they had never had any problems with the previous company."

The workers demand that the new company maintain the working conditions they have had for more than 16 years, and also ask for the reinstatement of the worker and delegate of personnel that was fired, and that during "so many years she has defended your classmates. "

The Secretary General of the PSOE lorquino insists that it is necessary that the current Mayor and the management of the Lorca hospital act as mediators between the company and the workers.

"The Rafael Méndez hospital has too many problems precisely because of the years of cuts in personnel that have weakened the quality of health care, and this situation can not be converted into another problem, especially when this is an easily solvable conflict, since it depends of the will of the company to assume conditions that have served so that this service has not been interrupted for nearly two decades. "

The workers are planning to convene a rally to demand the conditions they propose next December 19, if an agreement that solves this problem is not finally achieved.

The PSOE lorquino ensures that, if it is not resolved, it will support these concentrations in defense of the interests of the collective of workers of the company.
