The PSOE demands action after, once again, a small outbreak of fire was unleashed inside the premises of La Quinta.

The candidate for Mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, has demanded that Gil Jódar not wait for a disaster to occur and immediately order "urgent" actions for the cleaning, cleaning and perimeter fencing of the La Quinta environment, after It will unleash a small fire in the surroundings of the old private tennis club in San Jose.
"I do not know how many times we are going to have to denounce this problem from the PSOE, and what else must happen for Gil Jódar to decide to demand from the owner responsibilities, or to assume these works and pass the bill to the owner company."
Mateos has given the City Council fifteen days to order and execute the works as "day passes, day that the situation worsens".
"And immediately, what the owner company has to do is assume the expense derived from these actions."
"What can not be done is leaving this problem without solution waiting for some serious incident to occur," says the socialist candidate.
Mateos has once again asked Gil Jódar to assume his responsibility and not continue delaying the adoption of measures that are "necessary" because the neighbors live with the "logical fear, and concern" that any day will occur a "greater evil" "
"The transfer of people, especially for the practice of botellón, is continuous especially on weekends," warns Mateos.
"As long as Gil Jódar continues to neglect this issue, among the neighbors of the nearby houses, or the users of the nursery that is a few meters away, the concern continues to grow."
Mateos has warned the PP not to continue causing regrets such as last Thursday night, in which local police and firefighters had to return to be present, to alert the neighbors, due to a small fire that It occurred inside the enclosure.
"Years ago that place had to be fenced, cleaned and cleaned," adds Mateos.
The spokesman of the PSOE has asked Gil Jódar to "not continue to be afraid to warn large corporations as the owner of the site of these old facilities."
"A few months ago, there was a detachment of part of the façade of a small house in San José and, after five days, the owner, a neighbor of this neighborhood, already had the requirement in his house to assume the repair for the danger on public roads ".
"It can not be that the small owners are required immediately, and instead large companies are allowed to spend the months and years without having to assume the obligation to maintain their properties in a minimum conditions."
Mateos insists that the expense that would be derived to put an end to this problem is "assumable, first order and later, reversible".
"If I were mayor, this would be solved years ago, when what is at stake is the security of the neighbors, as in this case, there are no unaffordable expenses and even less if it is managed in an orderly, efficient and responsible manner".
