"Getsemaní": bonsai exhibition of olive trees for the Centennial of the Cloth of Flowers
El Paso Blanco and the Association of Friends of the Bonsai of Lorca have inaugurated this morning an extraordinary exhibition that can be visited free of charge until Sunday, January 26, in the exhibition hall of Casa del Paso, in Carril de Caldereros street.
The visiting hours are from 10 am to 2 pm in the morning, and from 5 pm to 8 pm in the afternoon.
The exhibition is centered on bonsai of olive trees of the varieties of common olive, wild olive and Mallorcan ullastre.
It has been called "Gethsemane" in memory of the Garden of Olives in which Jesus prayed before his Passion and Death, thus making a tribute to the Standard of Prayer in the Garden on the occasion of his centenary.
