The Councilman of Limusa shows his "perplexity" after the personal and professional attacks of C's and PSOE against the employee who denounced the extensive corruption scheme that existed in Limusa and that led to the arrest and conviction of several political positions of the PSOE.
The delegate councilor of the municipal cleaning company, Limusa, Juan Francisco Martínez, has reported that Lorca will save 341,280 euros through the process of reorganization of services that will be developed within the company.
It is a measure carried out with the objective of optimizing resources and achieving greater economic efficiency, and which includes a redistribution of tasks, duties and competences from the personnel assigned to different departments of Limusa.
We are talking about updating and organizing in a more effective way the current structure of the company, adjusting it to reality, as is usual in any company.
Martínez Carrasco has stated that the current Municipal Executive is carrying out a comprehensive improvement plan over the past few years that has made the company Limusa stop being known for the corruption case carried out by its previous leaders.
This plan has included three main factors: improvement of the conditions of the workers and their selection processes (eliminating the "bad uses" and hiring "by finger"), provision of new infrastructures (including the construction of a new glass of waste in the CGR and a new logistic base), as well as the renovation and modernization of the machinery with which the streets are cleaned.
Regarding the erroneous statements and accusations made by C's on this subject, and paradoxically backed by the PSOE, and in which they directly and personally attack a Limusa worker with whom a dismissal agreement has been reached, it is to point out that this is an employee who, contrary to what was affirmed by these political parties, was never charged in the Limusa case, but it was precisely his complaint that managed to uncover the biggest corruption scandal in the history of Lorca.
It is contradictory that some people tear their clothes saying that they fight against the corrupt, when what they do is to attack personally and professionally the person who faced a network of corruption protected by the previous municipal administration and, with his denunciations, got that Stop and condemn those responsible, many of them PSOE politicians.
The councilman of Limusa, after knowing the criticisms made about it, has shown his perplexity to see how C's and PSOE attack the one who denounced the corrupt plot of Limusa.
It is unheard of that these parties now insist on being the defense lawyers of those condemned by a case of corruption that damaged the image of the company and of all of Lorca.
Martinez Carrasco has also stressed that Lorca, and especially the workers of Limusa, have to be clear that C's wants to privatize Limusa (as already stated), and the PSOE is adding them.
Where before there were hiring "a finger", now we impose examinations, where before decided the politicians and their "friends", now technicians do without interference.
Limusa is of all Lorca and will never be the placement agency of any party.
We are going to prevent the return of the time when they mistreated Limusa, turning it into a hacienda of hired hunts, without any process, and whose political leaders have ended up condemned by the judge.
This decision has no turning back, Limusa will not be anyone's hiring agency again.
