Diego José Mateos raises solutions to the needs that claim the residents of Purias, one of the districts of the municipality that continues to grow demographically and, therefore, needs more attention after more than 12 years of abandonment of the Popular Party

The candidate for Mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos has proposed the creation of a municipal nursery in the hamlet of Purias in order to meet the "high demand" of this service to the increase in population that has been registering this district, as well as the rest of the councils that make up the "belt" of the orchard of the municipality.

Mateos has said that it is time to "recover the attention that our neighbors deserve from the districts, after 12 years in which the Popular Party has kept abandoned to our deputies."

The socialist spokesman, taking care of the neighborhood requests and from an efficient and realistic point of view, has called for the creation of this "fundamental" service to meet one of the main demands of young families living in this hamlet, one of the largest Township.

In his continuous journey through the municipality of Lorca, Mateos has highlighted the need to build in the hamlet of Purias this nursery for children from 0 to 3 years and include it in the network of day care centers that exist in districts, such as " fundamental commitment "of the City of Lorca for schooling of children from 0 to 3 years, for the consolidation of the population, and of course, for providing essential services for the reconciliation of work and family life.

Another of the deficiencies that the district of Purias presents due to the "neglect" that the Popular Party government has maintained for years, is in relation to the pediatric service that has been provided in the Purias office.

The medical center of the parish does not have an exclusive pediatrician, since it is shared with the Sutullena health center.

This circumstance, notes Mateos, "makes the pediatrician only visit three days a week, and for only one hour."

Therefore, Mateos calls on the Ministry of Health and the Murcia Health Service to initiate the necessary procedures for the expansion of the pediatric service in the medical center, because we are talking about a "fundamental service" to meet the needs of families of the district

"If the current Mayor is worried about this circumstance, he should not have any problem putting himself on our side and demanding that his colleagues in Murcia correct this grievance."

This battery of initiatives that Mateos proposes are the result of the "continuous work" and the "direct attention" that it maintains with the neighbors of the districts of Lorca.

The candidate for mayor has insisted that for Lorca "shine again" the districts must also recover the "lost years" in terms of providing "basic and essential" public services such as those related to health, education, Social services or security.

"The residents of the districts deserve better attention, it can not be that within the municipality there are neighbors who feel unattended by their City Council, we have to make them feel part of the Lorca project."
