The City Council demands the current central government to respect the commitment reached a year ago with the Ministry so that the town of Puntas de Calnegre "does not touch" (05/02/2019)

The Consistory will enforce the agreement reached a year ago, and clarifies that the State Coastal Demarcation has insisted on the last meeting held in which the most effective solution is for the residents to achieve an administrative concession, given the impossibility of including the town in the list of "pardoned" enclaves.

The spokesman of the City of Lorca, Francisco García, reported that the municipality has the commitment of the Government of Spain that no measure will be applied against those affected by the demarcation of the town of Puntas de Calnegre.

This was the agreement with the Ministry of the Environment and we will demand its commitment to the current Government.

This is the commitment reached less than a year ago, and that rules out any measure in this regard, since among all we have been able to transfer to Madrid the special sensitivity and uniqueness that exists with the town of Puntas, something that was welcomed in a constructive way

The reality is that in the last meeting held in this regard with the State Coastal Demarcation, we were clearly told that the solution is because the affected neighbors obtained an Administrative Concession, and that the inclusion of the town in the list of enclaves "pardoned" it is impossible.

In fact, only the houses located outside the shore of the sea could do it, but they would have to buy back their houses.

It is evident that it is not a solution.

We must point out that none of the villages included in the aforementioned annex presents dwellings on the shore of the sea (on the beach), something that does occur in the case of Puntas.

At this point any proposal is positive, but it is not serious to believe that there is a "magic solution" to a problem whose complexity is of utmost importance, especially when the criteria of the members of the same party are contradicted.

The objective of all parties, with the City Council at the head, is to find a real solution to the neighbors after the judicial confirmation of the demarcation carried out in 2005. This is not a question other than to help the neighbors, and whoever seeks another thing is wrong.

What we are doing together with those affected for more than a decade is to find a solution that prevents the demolition of homes in any case.

The most feasible and positive solution that has been found by the technicians who have worked on this issue is the establishment of a system of administrative concessions, which allows the neighbors to continue enjoying their homes without any type of problem.

We are talking about regularizing your situation, offering legal certainty and certainty.

The main legal problem that affects the neighbors is that the demarcation made years ago was ratified by the courts, despite the fact that the City Council and the neighbors appealed.

Today there is a line of housing that occupies the terrestrial maritime public domain, since it is on the beach.

The administrative concession would allow residents who have their homes on the shore of the sea to keep their homes under this system, first for 30 years and then with successive extensions of 60. In the case of dwellings located off the coast of the sea, the term is extended with extensions of 75 years.

Francisco García has stated that we will not cease our efforts to protect Puntas de Calnegre and defend the legitimate interests of our neighbors.

In fact we have always been on your side, and we celebrate that other parties now join our work, and we welcome them.

The neighbors need real solutions.

Others only remember this question from time to time.

We must remember that when another party started to demolish buildings on the coast of Murcia, we initiated the BIC declaration of the town and prevented them from demolishing the houses.

Those who now preach are the same ones who brought the shovel to the gates of Calnegre.

If it were for the PSOE the town today would not exist.

In the matter of the BIC even came to accuse us of being acting in fraud of law.

It was a tool that worked, despite the fact that the councilors of the PSOE in Lorca disqualified and demonized him openly, and even their heads of ranks from Murcia and Madrid filed an appeal against.

We must remember the statements of Diego Ferra when the declaration was made as BIC, noting that "we are concerned that it is a maneuver to raise false expectations because everything points to the autonomic powers can not affect the state ownership of maritime public domain terrestrial "(28-01-2010), as well as those of the then spokesman of the PSOE, Leoncio Collado, who assured that" the declaration as Cultural Interest of the town of Puntas de Calnegre does not solve the underlying problem that keeps alive the concern of the neighbors to keep the houses standing "(12-05-2010).
