The Councilor for Tourism of the City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, has announced an activity launched by "Lorca, Workshop of Time" to celebrate Valentine's Day in family in an incomparable setting as is the Castle of Lorca.
Montiel announced that "to encourage families to enjoy this anniversary, we are launching an initiative that will take place during the weekends that precede and follow Valentine's Day, specifically on the 9th, 10th , February 16 and 17 and having as theme the love as protagonist ".
The program will start at 12.30 with a special guided tour for the whole family through which they will relive the legend of the Cejo de los Enamorados while discovering corners of the Castle such as the Torre del Espolón or the small cistern.
There will also be games and workshops for those who want to stay for lunch.
In fact in the Caballerizas del Castillo a special menu has been prepared for the occasion, adding that between 15 and 17 hours a monitor will be in charge of entertaining the children with workshops.
The offer can be completed with guided tours of the Synagogue and the Alfonsina Tower, at 4.30 and 5.30 pm, respectively.
As for prices, tickets are free for children under 5, 7 euros for children under 12 and 8 for adults.
The price of the tickets plus the menu will be 8 euros for children under 5, 15 euros for children under 12 and 25 for adults.
Visits to the tower Alfonsina and Synagogue have a supplement of 5 euros.
Users of the friends card of "Lorca, Taller del Tiempo" will have special discounts.
Montiel encouraged all those interested to "enjoy this special initiative that aims to boost the cultural, tourist and social offer of the municipality and make available to visitors a new tool to enjoy an unparalleled space such as the Castle of Lorca "
