The City Council and Hostelor launch the public awareness campaign "Lorca cleans you in love" (14/02/2019)

The initiative will be developed from February 14 to 28 in many hotel establishments in the city and aims to sensitize with hearts, signals and messages to entrepreneurs, Lorca and tourists to have a cleaner Lorca

The councilors of Commerce and Limes of the City of Lorca, María del Carmen Ruiz and Juan Francisco Martínez, along with the president of Hostelor, Francisco Jesus Abellaneda, presented this morning a new initiative of citizen awareness that is called "Lorca cleans you in love" .

The campaign is organized by Hostelor in collaboration with the Department of Commerce and Limes.

This is a campaign that will be developed from February 14 to 28 in numerous catering establishments in the city and which aims to raise awareness among entrepreneurs, Lorca and tourists to have a cleaner Lorca.

It will take place in restaurants, terraces and streets and aims to give a more neat tourist image and that citizens acquire more responsibility to have a clean city.

The theme of "Lorca cleanses you in love" will be, as it can not be otherwise, love, since it is linked to Valentine's Day.

This date is very propitious to divulge in an ingenious way, using hearts and signals, messages alluding to love and cleanliness as: "For you and me do not dirty me", "Do not tell me" I love you "if you are going to leave all done a disgust "or" Show me ... "take care of me", among others.In addition, during this activity will also be distributed information on the garbage collection campaign, launched by the City Council, so that, on the one hand, citizens know the timetables in which the waste can be removed, and on the other so that the innkeepers, who are a fundamental part, become aware when leaving trash, cardboard, glass, ... on public roads outside the established time.

The initiative is aimed at Hostelor associates, but also establishments that are not associated can join it, as they will be given facilities to put in their establishments the signs and hearts of which this campaign is composed.

It should be noted that this is the first initiative of the many that will be launched during this year, since other themed campaigns will be created in an ironic way but aiming to raise awareness among the population about noise pollution and alcohol, about everything, in times such as Easter, Fair or Christmas.

In this sense, Hostelor is also going to carry out citizen awareness activities with neighborhood communities on rest and respect, as well as to revalue the downtown area.

From the City of Lorca we believe and support this type of campaign in which the whole society is involved to improve the image of our city.

The Lorca Consistory makes many efforts to improve the cleanliness of our town, but all citizens add and we are fundamental pieces to keep Lorca clean.

Finally, I would like to thank Hostelor for the effort he will make during the month of February, the month of love, so that we all love Lorca and want it cleaner and more beautiful than ever.
