The Brotherhood of Laborers, Paso Azul and the Pontifical, Royal and Illustrious Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus in the Painful Step of Capture and Hope for the Salvation of Souls, better known as the Cofradía California of the neighboring city of Cartagena, signed an act of twinning with the aim of making official the close collaboration relationship that both entities have maintained for several years.
In fact, in 2015, a delegation from Lorca already moved to the port city to sign a twinning act, although this time it was between the youth sections of both brotherhoods.
After the reception of the large California delegation, a solemn Eucharist was celebrated in the church of San Francisco.
At the end of it, José María Miñarro and Juan Carlos de la Cerra, President and Big Brother of blues and californios respectively, signed their signature in order to formalize the historical, passionate and brotherhood ties that unite these institutions in a way that encourages both the bonds of brotherhood between the members of the same as collaboration and mutual support of the entities.
