Lorca will host a day of experiences in Equality on March 5 (22/02/2019)

This is the event "Lorca in Women", organized by the City of Lorca and the newspaper La Verdad, which will be held at the Cultural Center of the City Mayor José María Campoy, starting at 4:00 p.m.

The Mayor of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, along with the Commercial Manager of the newspaper La Verdad, Ascensión Tenza, presented this morning in the Town Hall of the Municipal Council, the first edition of the event "Lorca in Femenino"

On Tuesday, March 5, and within the programming of Women's Week, a day will be held at the Cultural Center of the City "Mayor José María Campoy", from 4:30 pm, which will feature the intervention and participation of women and men involved in the struggle for equality, family, education and the social situation of women, through interviews and a table of professional experiences in women.

Last year La Verdad organized for the first time the Women's Week with the intention of giving visibility and voice to those people who are working and contributing to gender equality.

This year the event is extended and moved to three cities: Cartagena (February 26), Murcia (February 27) and Lorca (March 5).

With the support and involvement of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, the City of Lorca and its Department of Equality, Limusa, Fundación Caja Mediterráneo, Asisa, the Virgen del Alcázar Hospital and the Federation of Women's Associations of Lorca, the Water Association and Tierra, Thader Consumo, Feminist Political Forum, Afammer and Fedam, we have put together ideas for an active and participatory edition that will have the participation of:

Amalia Gómez
