New aid for companies and professionals of the crafts of the Region of Murcia

The Ministry of Employment, Universities, Enterprise and Environment, through the General Directorate of Trade, Consumption and Administrative Simplification, has decided to increase by 7 percent the aid for companies and professionals of the crafts of the Region of Murcia to modernize their activity in plots such as corporate identity, communication or the acquisition of new technologies.

The order will be published soon in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM) and will amount to a total of 80,000 euros, with the aim of encouraging these investments.

Each aid will have a maximum amount of 3,000 euros per applicant and may cover up to 50 percent of the total expenses of the company or individual in their respective projects.

Thus, an artisan who, for example, presents a design project for a new website with an associated cost of 1,800 euros, will receive a grant to cover half of that amount (900 euros).

The Community will qualify four categories in which the aid may be requested.

For the general director of Commerce, Consumption and Administrative Simplification, Francisco Abril, "these aids are fundamental for the craft sector, because they encourage to take the step of modernizing their production processes and bring with them an increase in competitiveness and innovation Without these grants, many of those investments would not be made.
