The Mater Dolorosa Musical Association will offer its traditional Lenten concert next Sunday, March 24th.
The event, long established in the social and cultural calendar of Lorca, will once again fill the church of San Francisco with music and color.
The entrance will be free, so that all Lorca who so wish, whatever their color, can enjoy this magnificent prelude to the Holy Week of Lorca.
During the ceremony attendees can hear the traditional compositions with which the group is the delight of all those who hear them through the streets of Lorca in the days of Holy Week, highlighting the premiere of the march "And the night became blue" , donated by Francisco Javier Pérez Blanes.
In addition, this recital will serve to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the creation of this musical training in the heart of the Brotherhood of Labradors, so the occasion will be doubly special.
All Lorca are encouraged to attend the event, since they will be able to enjoy a first level musical show that will animate the City of the Sun in the days before the beginning of Holy Week while accompanying the blue formation on such a marked date.
