The Holy Week in Lorca is endowed this year with a "Point 0, Lorca free of harassment", which will be itinerant to gain versatility, operability and closeness, implemented the experience already developed during the celebration of the Fair and Celebrations of the City last month of September.
It is a resource that will be available to all citizens and from tomorrow Friday between 20:00 and 22:00 in the Plaza de España, coinciding with the celebration of the traditional Easter Week in Lorca, which this year runs to charge of the President of the Autonomous Community, Fernando López Miras.
Point 0 will also be enabled on Serenade Thursday in the vicinity of San Francisco between 22:00 and 23:30.
The next day, Friday of Dolores, will be established in Corredera street between 17:00 and 18:30, moving to the main race of Avenida Juan Carlos I, between 18:30 and 20:00.
For the Sabbath of Passion, it is planned to be located in Plaza de España between 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
Palm Sunday will be available at Plaza Real between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm, at Corredera street between 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm, as well as at Avenida Juan Carlos I between 6:30 pm and 8:00 pm: 00 h.
For Holy Thursday will be available in Calle Corredera between 17:00 and 18:30, Avenida Juan Carlos I between 18:30 and 20:00, as well as in Plaza de la Estrella from 23:00 to 30:30 h, in coincidence with the celebration of the Silence procession.
For the day of Good Friday its disposition has been planned in Corredera street from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and in Juan Carlos I avenue from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The Point O will develop awareness, prevention and information actions in all the designated sites through a team of specially trained informants, who can be easily identified thanks to their clothing, a pink sweatshirt with the motto "Punto 0 Lorca libre de bullying".
Point 0 will have as a central reference the Advanced Command Post located in Alameda de Constitución.
Together with the identified informants, any person who wants to report an incident in this regard can directly address any member of the extraordinary security and emergency device enabled for the proper development of the multiple events of Holy Week in Lorca.
The Municipal Emergency Service, for its part, has planned to keep activated throughout the 4 main days the Psychological and Social Care Group (GAPS), which has psychologists, social workers and support technicians, who have received specialized training regarding the protocols of action in cases of abuse by gender violence, including also the attention to child abuse.
From the itinerant device will be disseminated information to remember that we must enjoy a Holy Week free of aggression, 0% harassment and 100% respect for these holidays to be a fun space in positive.
