Coinciding with the International Day of the Gypsy people, next Monday, April 8, the Department of Equality and Social Welfare and Family of the City of Lorca, and the Initiatives the Giant Foundation, organize the day "Gipsy Community in Lorca, for a job in network: Panel of experiences of social entities ".
This activity will gather in the renewed church of San Pedro the majority of entities that carry out social programs with this group.

The main objective of this day is on the one hand to carry out the first joint action of all the social entities that work in this collective of Lorca, and on the other hand to improve the coordination between the actions that are being carried out.

The Cepaim Foundation and Cazalla Intercultural will also participate, since they are currently diversifying their actions and not only focus on immigration programs but they are also starting to work with the Roma community.

Manifest reading and flag raising to commemorate the International Day of the Gypsy People
The Fundación Secretariado Gitano in collaboration with the City Council of Lorca will also celebrate the International Day of the Gypsy People with the reading of a manifesto and the raising of the flag of the Gypsy People.
The event will take place at 12 noon in the Plaza del Conservatorio de Música.
