More than 600 students will participate on Wednesday in the III School Health Fair that will take place in the Plaza de Calderón, Colón and the Alamedas de Lorca (08/04/2019)

This exhibition, organized by the schools San José, Narciso Yepes, San Cristóbal, Ana Caicedo, Andrés García Soler and Villaespesa, in collaboration with the City Council, will take place from 10 am to 1 pm and from 4:30 pm to 7 pm. they will carry out physical activities and distribute fruits and vegetables

Lorca will host next Wednesday, April 10, the III School Health Fair organized by the schools San José, Narciso Yepes, San Cristóbal, Ana Caicedo, Andrés García Soler and Villaespesa, in collaboration with the City Council.

The event will be held in Plaza Calderón, Colón and Las Alamedas and will involve more than 600 students in 4th, 5th and 6th grade.

During the morning, from 10 am to 1 pm, healthy activities will be held around the different stands, in addition there will be a lunch with fruit and vegetables will be distributed by the students of the six participating schools through different streets and squares of the city. changing the realization of a healthy habit such as putting out a cigarette, doing squats, jumping rope, ...

In addition, this 3rd edition of the School Health Fair will have a day for parents, so, during the afternoon of Wednesday, and from 16:30 to 19 hours in the Alameda de Lorca you can enjoy an afternoon in family practicing different physical activities such as orientation, functional training, stretching, first aid workshop and march, until the closing of the Fair, which will culminate with a zumba activity for the whole family.

The III School Health Fair aims to raise awareness among families about the implementation of healthy lifestyles, leaving behind a sedentary lifestyle and counting on sports as the main and effective alternative.

In this way we will be fighting one of the main epidemics that are affecting very much to the earliest generations, as is the case of obesity.

We are talking about a reality that we also have to fight from home, since the responsibility for our children to have the resources and tools necessary to avoid overweight and poor nutrition is the whole of society.
