Antonio Meca will not attend the presidential stand during Holy Week (11/04/2019)

D. Antonio Meca García, Councilor of the City of Lorca and Candidate for mayor by the independent party Ciudalor has made public its decision one year, not to attend the presidential stand of Holy Week, "as we have done in the previous and since I'm Councilman of this City Council "explains.

The reason is the disagreement with the use made by the government team of this rostrum: arbitrary, clientelist and cacique.

Mecca recalls "that in January 2016 I requested in the plenary session, through a motion, the regularization of this rostrum, and that the purpose of the same be fulfilled, which the City Council recognizes."

The rostrum is necessary but must have a serious and clear use.

The opposite of what has been done for years, which has been used by family and friends of the council, without any justification.

In addition to this, Antonio Meca explains that "I can not agree that citizens pay the snack to attendees charged to the Lorca, more than 4,000 euros."

During the years 2017 and 2018 "we have continued requesting documentation and explanations from the Government team that has never been provided", about the sale of the stands in front of the presidency.

These 146 seats in counter-presidency were offered for sale by municipal protocol services and the application of these funds has not been known.
