Antonio Navarro calls for the general revision of the municipal trees after the fall of several large specimens, registered in public spaces both in the city and in districts, which could be damaged by the heavy rain and wind of recent days
The councilor of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Antonio Navarro has requested to review, in a generalized way, the state of municipal trees located in different public spaces, both in the city and in the districts, because they could be damaged after the storm of rain and wind of the last days.
"During the last hours, we have witnessed new falls of large trees, such as in the environment of the social center of the district of Cazalla, and of some others registered in the park of Casa Mata, in San Diego, or in the near the Pérez de Hita school, in La Viña ", warned Navarro.
"These circumstances oblige us to take the necessary precautions and to thoroughly review the state of the trees, especially in those areas with the highest concentration of population, such as parks, playgrounds, schools and colleges, social centers, as well as as of the road trees, in order to ensure that there is no danger for pedestrians, "warned Navarro.
