Pedro Sosa, councilor for Izquierda Unida Verdes in the municipality of Lorca, criticized this morning the popular government team for its inoperability over the control of land uses, which is causing continuous episodes of pollution of our coasts every time torrential rains occur or that neighbors have to endure the inconvenience of illegal telephone antennas.

Sosa has echoed some lamentable images published in the Facebook group of "Indignate PR Cabo de Cope Calnegre" after the last episode of rains these days in the ravine that ends in the town of Puntas de Calnegre, in which can see a lot of plastic greenhouses occupying the bed of the same along the coastline.

For the mayor, the abandonment of the administrations and the lack of environmental awareness on the part of some agricultural entrepreneurs, are turning our Region into a Comanche territory in which everyone does what they want without thinking about the common good.

"It is very good to decorate the city every year for Easter and encourage tourists to visit us, but we also want them to see plastics everywhere when they visit our beaches?" Said Sosa.

The mayor recalled that this situation of environmental pollution is repeated and reported after each episode of torrential rains, but we still do not control the planning of the territory and the harmonization of it to avoid it, so Sosa has qualified the mayor Saturnina Martínez , as the worst mayor of the Environment that this consistory has had, "since the complaints are constant, but the sanctions against those responsible never come."
