The Hall of Town Councils of the City of Lorca has hosted this morning the presentation of the XXVI Sports Meetings of Women's Collectives that take place during the months of April and May, organized jointly by the councils of Equality and Sports of the municipal Consistory.
Among the activities planned in the program we can find urban treks, zumba and aquagym, workshops of self-defense, healthy activity, archery, salsa and Latin dances, and talks on physical activity and women.
The meetings will begin this coming Friday, April 26, with the opening ceremony for which a day of urban trekking, a route through the historic center and a healthy urban itinerary, which will start at 8:30 p.m. from Spain Square.
All those interested can register in the departure area.
For Saturday, April 27, a Zumba session directed by Carmen Franco has been scheduled for the Parque Almenara Shopping Center, starting at 11 am.
On Monday, 29, the Hall of Multiple Uses of the Department of Equality will host, from 7 pm, the talk "Physical Activity and Women", given by Apolonia Albarracín, Eva Belén Ruiz and Ana Ortiz.
On Tuesday, April 30, will take place at the Sports Complex Felipe VI a 'Self-defense Workshop', which will start at 11 am, and whose registration will be open until next Monday at the Department of Sports.
On Thursday, May 2, at the San Diego Park Active Circuit will be held the 'Healthy Physical Activity Workshop' and 'Petanque Workshop', from 11 am.
Those interested can register with the Department of Sports until Tuesday, April 30.
On Friday, May 3, it will be Aquagym's turn, with a day in the pool of the Felipe VI Sports Complex, starting at 11 o'clock.
Registration can be completed until next Thursday at the Sports House.
On Tuesday, May 7, it will be the turn of the "Flechas Rosas" Awareness Workshop of Archery, starting at 6:00 pm on the ground floor of the Alameda Pavilion.
Registration can be made until Thursday, May 2, in the Department of Sports.
On Wednesday, May 8, you can enjoy a day of Urban Trekking and Guided Visit to the "Sanctuary of the Virgen de las Huertas and the Caliphate Palace".
It will begin at 9:30 am from the Visitors Center located in the Cloister of La Merced.
The planned route will be La Merced, Santa Clara, La Torta Bridge, Virgen de las Huertas Alameda, patronal Sanctuary, Vereda de Los Reales and back through Las Alamedas.
Registration will be open until Monday, May 6, at the Department of Sports.
On Friday, May 10, the closing will be celebrated with a Hiking Trail in Puntas de Calnegre, a day in which there will also be alternative sports, a salsa workshop and Latin dances.
The departure will be at 9:15 hours from the CD Felipe VI, registration, which will be 2 euros, may be made until Tuesday, May 7, in the Department of Sports.
