The elected councilor of Izquierda Unida-Verdes, Pedro Sosa, has held this morning a meeting with the candidate for mayor of Lorca by the Popular Party, Fulgencio Gil, which has developed in a climate of "respect" and "cordiality", although no agreement has been reached between the formations to which both represent.
Sosa has stated that he is the only elected councilor of Citizens, Francisco Morales, who holds the key to governance in Lorca.
"That key can turn to the left or you can do it to the right to give entrance to the policies of VOX in the City council", said Sosa who, in any case, has assured that "United Left would come into play only if C's decides to invest to the mayoral candidate of Lorca by the PSOE, Diego José Mateos ".
In that "second part of the party", it will be the militants and the IU-Green candidates who will decide if this formation will participate in a hypothetical government with the PSOE.
Waiting that the cession of councilman of C's, the two ediles of Izquierda Unida-Verdes, Sosa himself and Gloria Martin, were incorporated early Monday to continue their work in their municipal group.
"The problems and needs of Lorca can not be left unattended as long as the national and regional leaders of the other parties defoliated the margarita."
