These are samples integrated for the most part by works carried out by the students participating in the workshops of the Popular University and the Municipal School of Visual and Performing Arts, which can be enjoyed until July 5.

The Councilman of Culture and Celebrations in the City council of Lorca, Agustín Llamas, has informed that the Center of Cultural Resources has undertaken for the second consecutive year an extensive series of exhibitions, framed within "Expocreación 2019", that are going to be developed in the Mayor José María Campoy Cultural Center and at the Guerra Theater.

Agustín Llamas explained that "these are samples integrated mostly by work carried out by students participating in the workshops of the Popular University and Municipal School of Visual and Performing Arts.We must emphasize that culture does not imply the ability to use or consume a cultural asset, but the attitude and freedom to produce and create it. "Under this premise is developing Expocreación 2019, which encompasses all these exhibitions, which have begun with a sample of experimental painting that can be enjoyed in the cultural center of the city. city".

We must point out that the Cultural Center also hosts today at 20:30 hours the theater shows "The generations of the 80" by Raquel López and "The kingdom of lentils" Raúl Rey, both made by students of the School of Performing Arts. In addition, from June 11 to 15 you can enjoy the painting exhibition "Tonos y Formas";

from June 17 to 20 of the exhibition of children's paintings "Fantastic";

while the photo exhibition of the Photoshop course "Transition Image" will take place from the 22nd until the end of the month.This series of exhibitions of works and creatives will also have a sample of restoration and art in fabric (patchwork) that can be seen from 1 to July 5.

The Guerra Theater, meanwhile, will host on June 11 the XXII School Theater Competition, whose students will participate in the work "A cake for the King" by Raúl Rey.

The premiere of the short film "Tú Veras" by Benito Rabal will take place on June 13 and will be included in the Festival A Corta Distancia.

Finally, on June 17 the students of the dance courses will realize the VI Festival of Children's Dance "Coco".
