Pérez has announced that "within its functions of traffic control and prevention of public safety in the town of Lorca, the agents observed parked a BMW brand tourism, model 420D XDRIVE, with license plate of the Czech Republic. The agents proceeded to check the administrative situation of the vehicle, observing divergences between the identifying elements of the vehicle and the license plate that it carried ".
The mayor said that "moments later the driver arrived at the place, so the local police proceeded to check the documentation and carried out a thorough inspection of it, checking that the vehicle's frame number had been altered, as well Like other identifying elements, thanks to the great training of the agents in documentation and falsification of elements identifying stolen vehicles, they traced the same, finding the original frame number, which had been reported for theft in the Czech Republic. For these reasons, the driver of the tourism was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of falsification of documents and theft of the vehicle. "
The Councilor for Citizen Security wanted to "congratulate the agents participating in the operation for their ability and for their training, which has allowed them to carry out a new action of interest to recover a vehicle that had been stolen abroad, and that adds to other similar actions developed during the last months ".
