The Mayor of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, has presented this morning the Plan Copla 2019 that will be launched in full on the beaches of Punta de Calnegre for the summer, ranging from July 1 to September 1, from 11 to 20 hours, as well as the last two weekends of the month of June (June 22, 23, 29 and 30).

In addition, after the final approval of the new Ordinance Regulating the Right Use of the Beaches of the Litoral of the Municipality of Lorca published in the BORM and currently in force, it addresses, among others, a title to the service of surveillance, rescue, lifeguard and security on the beach, being under sanctioning regime the breach of any of its prohibitions and rules of conduct.

These actions in the Lorca beaches are carried out in coordination with the General Directorate of Citizen Security and Emergencies, belonging to the Ministry of the Presidency of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, regional administration that participates in the Regional Plan for Surveillance and Rescue in Beaches and Salvage in La Mar (PLAN COPLA).
