This solidarity event will be held this coming Friday, June 28, at the Mercado del Sol where all attendees can taste typical products of the land such as ham and cheese by acquiring tickets worth 3 euros.
The mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, presented this morning, together with the Councilor for Tourism, Francisco Morales, the president of Guadalentín Emprende, Ana Jiménez, the treasurer of this association, Alicia Lidón and the director of the Residencia de Ancianos de San Diego, María José Navarro, the 1st Solidarity Days in favor of the San Diego Senior Residence to be held next week.
This event, organized by Guadalentín Emprende to support and help the elderly in downtown San Diego, will be held next Friday, June 28, starting at 8 pm at the Mercado del Sol, where you can taste typical products of the land like ham and cheese by acquiring tickets worth 3 euros.
Other local products will also be offered for tapas.
The tickets can be purchased in advance at the Guadalentín Emprende offices, at Carlin Lorca or at the Residencia de Ancianos, and on the same day as the Mercado del Sol event, which is expected to be attended by 1,000 people.

There have been many companies that have joined this cause, as is the case of expert cutters of Ham who will collaborate with their knowledge and experience so that attendees can taste this typical product of our region in the best way.
The Mercado del Sol offers its facilities for the event, as well as a special price for beer, which can be purchased for one euro.
On the other hand, from Lorca Taller del Tiempo a free entrance will be offered to the Castle of Lorca.
for each ticket, other companies such as Sol de Levante, Tracón, Clendy and Scala have collaborated in an altruistic way to make this initiative a success.
The main product and protagonist of this solidarity event, hams, have been contributed by the Region, Catering Antonia Navarro, Aretia Constructora, AMG Services, Secadero Casa de Ana, Hogantia Real Estate, Hospital Innovations and Periago Electrical Mounts.
From Guadalentín Emprende are "aware of the needs of this sector of the population and is committed to the realization of this activity to contribute to improving the living conditions of our elders."
