The Councilor for Sports of the City of Lorca, Irene Jódar, presented this morning the Rugby Summer School organized jointly by the Department of Sports, the Lorca Rugby Club and the Rugby Federation of the Region of Murcia.

Jódar pointed out that "for the third year in a row, the #Semilladevalores program organizes this activity that will take place from July 2 to July 30 at the Alfonso Embarre municipal soccer field in the San Cristóbal neighborhood."

The mayor of Sports has detailed that "the summer school, which is completely free, this year will have two classes, one for children from 6 to 14 years, which will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18 to 19:30 and another of 14 to 18 years, the same two days, from 7:45 pm to 9:00 pm With this new age segment, what is intended is to facilitate the practice of this sport to a part of the youth population that has shown interest but that , for different circumstances, you can not practice it. "

On the other hand, Enrique Olcina, player of the Rugby Club of Lorca and member of the Rugby Federation of the Region of Murcia, explained that "the #SemilladeValores program promotes the values ​​of integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline and respect present in all sports but, especially in rugby, especially marking the integration through solidarity (we are all necessary in the game) because rugby, unlike other team sports, supports different and varied physical characteristics and mental for the various positions in the field in the game of rugby.
