The "ignition" fulfills one of the commitments of the councilor of New Technologies of the Lorca Consistory, Irene Jódar, who has applied this measure just two days after acquiring this competence.
The Councilor for New Technologies of the City of Lorca, Irene Jódar, presented this morning the improvements that have been made in recent days in the study room of the José María Campoy Camacho Cultural Center.
The mayor of New Technologies has noted that "until now the study room of the Cultural Center had serious shortcomings, such as the fact of not having Wi-Fi, as well as not having enough plugs, have a very old and worn furniture, and that there was no soundproofing system to contribute to the concentration of students. "
Jódar recalled that this was one of the first commitments he acquired and, in his first week in office, he has fulfilled.
"The students, especially the opponents who are preparing their exams these days, can now enjoy free Wi-Fi connection in the 24-hour study room."
The councilor recalled that within the 'Project Sol', in the education and youth plot, was included as one of the priorities "to value and modernize this space, and adapt this study room, at the request of users."
The mayor of New Technologies has explained that "the installation of this system has been a very simple process because we only had to connect an ADSL that was already in these facilities, now all the users of this room will be able to access through a password that they have. Students, something that during these days the users are thanking us as it was very necessary ".
Jódar Pérez has advanced that "since it is a multipurpose space where various cultural activities are carried out, other improvements will be implemented for the well-being of the students, both university, institute and opponents who spend so many hours per day in these facilities" .
