Since last April have been made in these facilities, preparation and conditioning work through the maintenance staff of the Department of Sports and training programs masonry, plumbing, painting and gardening of the Local Council.

The Councilor for Sports of the City of Lorca, Irene Jódar recalled that, from today, Wednesday, July 3, will be open the municipal pools of La Parroquia and Zarcilla de Ramos, and will do until Saturday, August 31.

Jódar recalled that "the opening hours to the public of the pools of Zarcilla de Ramos and La Parroquia will be from 13 to 20 hours from Wednesday to Sunday, both in July and August, and they will be closed to the bathroom on Mondays and Tuesdays."

As for prices, the mayor of Sports, explained that "will be the same as 2018, young people under 18 years and pensioners will pay 2 euros per day of bathing, having at your disposal a bonus of 5 bathrooms for 8 euros and of 10 bathrooms for 14 euros, those over 18 years old will pay 3 euros per day, being able to buy 5 bathrooms for 12 euros and 10 bathrooms for 21 euros.Families (parents and children) can access with a special bathroom ticket family at the price of 10 euros, having at your disposal a voucher for 5 bathrooms at the price of 40 euros.To qualify for any of the bonuses will be necessary to submit the required documentation, the family book being the relevant document for the family bathroom.

In addition, from 3 to July 31, in the pool of Zarcilla de Ramos, swimming courses for children from 4 to 6 years (level 0) and 7 years and above (level 1) will be taught at times that are yet to be determined , subject to the number and level of those registered.

The registration fee for these courses, which will run from Tuesday to Friday, will be € 40.90.

For its part, the mayor of Desarrollo Loca, Isabel Casalduero stressed that "in recent weeks have carried out works in these facilities, specifically in the pool of Zarcilla de Ramos have developed gardening, has cleared the entire site , with the pruning of the baladres, the false peppers and the rest of the trees, as well as the conditioning of the lawn and the beach area, while in the pool of La Parroquia the outer perimeter and the pruning have been cleaned of trees, and in terms of painting the perimeter fence was painted, as well as the benches and the wooden grids ".

All these works have been made through the maintenance staff of the Department of Sports and training courses of the Local Development Department of the City of Lorca.
