This initiative, which has a grant of 6,000 euros from the Directorate General of Commerce, aims to help traders to free stock of stores, both winter and summer, offering significant discounts up to 70%.
The Councilor for Commerce of the City of Lorca, Francisco Morales, presented this morning, together with representatives of the Union of Merchants, the outlet "Let's go shopping, Let's go shopping" scheduled for next October in the Plaza de Calderón
The mayor of Commerce has detailed that "the goal of this outlet, launched by the Union of Merchants of Lorca in collaboration with the City Council, through the Department of Commerce, is that establishments can release stock from warehouses, both of winter as of summer, offering important discounts that will oscillate between 40 and 70% ".
In this activity that will take place on 3, 4, 5 and 6 October, companies from the textile, children's, footwear, optics, accessories, knight, decoration, real estate, among others sectors will participate.
The schedule, which is still to close, will be Thursday and Friday afternoon, Saturday throughout the day, and Sunday morning.
Morales has encouraged Lorca merchants, who have not yet joined, to "participate in this activity through which they can take their products to the street, making them more visible to the consumer, especially when in a place of passage for neighbors and visitors ".
Francisco Morales recalled that "this activity is endowed with a grant from the General Directorate of Trade of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia of an amount of 6,000 euros" and that "participating is very easy, you just need to get in touch with the Union of Merchants. "
Finally, the councilman of Commerce has reiterated the provision of the City of Lorca to collaborate with any initiative that may arise in the future in order to support the commercial fabric of the city of the Sun.
