The Mater Dolorosa Musical Group of Paso Azul celebrates, once again, its traditional Summer Concert.
It will be this Thursday, July 11, at 9:00 pm, in an incomparable setting such as the Plaza de España de Lorca.
After the public success of the concerts held in previous years, the blue musicians come back with a fourth edition offering great premieres in the repertoire to delight all the public because, during the concert, we can enjoy both brother music and the most popular songs and soundtracks.
The concert will be divided into two parts.
In the first, something more traditional, we will enjoy themes like Immortal by Thomas Berjensen, Habanera "Ay Virgen de los Dolores";
The mission of the great Ennio Morricone;
the Concert of Aranjuez by Joaquín Rodrigo and In your hands, the hope of Alberto Caballero.
While the second part will begin a recital featuring songs from soundtracks more than known by the public such as the movies The Avengers and The Prince of Egypt to which, in addition, in the latter we will have the participation of the Lorca singer Sandra García Martínez who will put voice to the letter.
Also, we can enjoy the music of the great Paco de Lucía and his wonderful Entre dos aguas, as well as Mi gran noche de Raphael.
The final touch to this fantastic evening, as it can not be otherwise, will be with the performance of the hymn of the Paso Azul, Las Caretas, by the nearly 70 musicians of the Mater Dolorosa Music Association that put an end to an intense musical year in which, in addition to shining in the biblical-passional parades, they have carried out such marked performances as the traditional Solidarity Christmas Concert or that of Lent.
From the Brotherhood of Labradores Paso Azul, we invite all music lovers to enjoy this great concert that, in a unique setting, will make us enjoy the good work of the blue musicians that make up the Musical Group that every year manages to do the delight of the spectators in each procession, in each concert and in each of its multiple performances.
