The liquidation of the budget, whose data has been hidden by the current socialist mayor of the Treasury, offers very positive numbers in the treasury surplus, budgetary stability and net savings, among other issues.
The Spokesman of the Popular Group in the City of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, reported that the data corresponding to the budget settlement, which have been known today, indicate that the PP has achieved a positive budget result of € 8,261,631'23, while the treasury surplus is also positive at € 1,865,455'01, remember that the PSOE left it at € 9,252,587 negative in 2007. This balance certifies that the City Council has managed, after intense management, to finance its expenses with their own income, leaving behind a situation that led to the Consistory on the verge of bankruptcy.
Regarding the evolution of the debt figure, which the PSOE left at 105.4 million in 2007, the line of work established by the Popular Party has managed to redirect a rhythm that the Socialists had made unsustainable, and whose consequences We are still suffering all Lorca.
In this way, the Municipal Consistory will end this year with just 36.5 million euros of debt, which means a cut of almost 69 million euros.
This fact constitutes an economic milestone in the history of the municipality.
We hope that the current local misgovernment does not commit the irresponsibility of "going back to the old ways", and compromises the economic stability of the City Council, as it did until the end years ago.

To get a better idea of ​​the magnitude to which we refer, each Lorca family has gone from supporting a debt of 3,437 euros to 1,296.
The improvement of the Consistory's debt means that this figure has evolved with a daily decrease of almost 18,000 euros.
The data corroborate that the application of the successive plans and efficiency measures in spending have achieved their objective, and in fact the model developed in Lorca has served as a reference for other municipalities, which have copied the process executed in our City Council.
Regarding the Treasury Remainder, which the PSOE left at -11,267,126 €, from the PP we have now reached € 1,865,455.
We are talking about the most important indicator, since by being positive, it allows the City Council to borrow for financing investments.
From the PP it has been achieved, in addition, that the budgetary stability inherited from the PSOE in 2007, which was negative in € 28,227,418, now offers a positive figure of € 4,931,936.
The same thing happens with net savings, which with the PSOE was negative at € 12,291,854, and we have managed to leave it positive, with a specific figure of € 6,856,141'15.
This is a real economic turnaround in the face of the PSOE's management, which left the City Council in bankruptcy, the boxes full of invoices, suppliers without payment and a ruinous debt.
The PSOE, caught lying, again ...
In relation to the expenditure rule, the Intervention Report that assesses compliance with the budget stability objective, the aforementioned rule and the public debt, leaves no room for doubt, pointing out, verbatim, these key issues:
"The City meets the objective of budgetary stability, understood as the situation of balance or surplus in terms of funding capacity."
"The City meets the objective of the Public Debt limit established in Article 53 of the Consolidated Text of the Local Treasury Law".
"The debt ratio is lower than the objective proposed in the Economic and Financial Plan of the City of Lorca for the period 2018/2019".
The report confirms that the expenditure limit established for 2018 was 59.3 million, and was exceeded by 2.1 for the forced construction of the new glass for solid urban waste, which saves the Lorca 200 million euros.
This clarification confirms that the socialist mayor of Hacienda or lies, or simply ignores the reality, since he indicated, verbatim, that "last year the spending limit was exceeded by 10.5 million", something that, as has been corroborated, it is totally false, as it is that it has been "touched" the 8.5 million euros that we have left as an inheritance to the local misgovernment by the judgment of Iberdrola.
