The Regional Assembly of Murcia has unanimously approved a proposal of law endorsed by the five Parliamentary Groups to extend in six months the period of justification of aid received for the repair of homes affected by the Lorca earthquake of May 11, 2011 .
The legislative initiative justifies in its explanatory statement the aforementioned extension in which more than half of the beneficiaries of the aid have not submitted the justification account of the same, so, “if a solution to the problem was not arbitrated, it would result in the obligation to reintegrate the aid received by all the beneficiaries who have not presented their justification â€.
The defense from the tribune of speakers of this proposed law, which modifies a previous one (Law 8/2018, of July 23, on aid from Lorca), has been in charge of Diego Conesa, spokesman for the Socialist Parliamentary Group;
Juan José Liarte, spokesperson for the Vox Parliamentary Group;
Juan José Molina, deputy spokesperson of the Parliamentary Group Citizens-Party of Citizenship;
María Giménez Casalduero, deputy of Podemos and Carmen Ruíz Jodar, deputy of the Popular Parliamentary Group.
