The proceedings for these events have been referred to the National Police, which in turn will send them to the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office of Murcia, as well as to the Social Services of Lorca and the Child Protection Service of the Autonomous Community of the Region.

The Councilor for Citizen Security of the City of Lorca, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, has reported an operation carried out by the Local Police within the tasks of citizen security and surveillance, both in the urban area of the city and in its districts " .

The Councilor for Public Safety has detailed that "the events took place on July 29, when the Local Police proceeded to identify a minor who was driving a moped stolen in the urban area of the city of Lorca."

"The action began after several complaints from citizens of the district of Tercia who reported the inconvenience caused by excessive noise caused by several young people driving mopeds along several roads of the village, doing so in a way that created danger for other users of the tracks. "

As a result of the above, an operation was arranged that resulted in the location of two young people, one who was driving a moped and another who was trying to put a minimoto into operation and who were caught on the Villamontiel de Tercia Road.

Once located, it was found that both were minors and that one of them, the one driving the moped, lacked any type of driver's license or license.

Likewise, it was found that the moped he was driving had no license plate, and several inquiries were necessary to verify who was the owner of the moped.

After making these inquiries and contacting their rightful owner, it was found that the moped had been stolen days before, rendering its blocking mechanisms useless, when it was parked in Marmolico street, in Lorca.

Therefore, the child who was driving the moped was investigated for an alleged crime of theft of moped and against Road Safety, when driving the moped without ever obtaining a driver's license or license, his parents being informed of these facts immediately.

The other minor involved, who was carrying a minimoto, found that the vehicle lacked any element of identification, which is why it was intervened to clarify its origin and origin.

In this case, the parents of this minor were also informed of the facts.

The proceedings for these events were referred to the National Police of Lorca, which in turn will refer them to the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office of Murcia.

Given the concurrent circumstances in this case, it has been proceeded by the Local Police to report the facts to the Social Services of Lorca and the Child Protection Service of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, all in accordance with the protection interest of the minors, also activating the internal protocols of the Local Police Service of the Guardian Police.

The mayor of Public Safety insists that "this important action confirms the constant preventive / operational work carried out by the Local Police of Lorca through the different units in which it is organized and through the monitoring devices established throughout the municipal term, as well as its coordination with the rest of the Security Forces and Bodies ".
