The Town Planning and Development Councilors of the City of Lorca, José Luis Ruiz Guillén and Isabel Casalduero, have visited this morning the old facilities of 'La Quinta' place in which during the last weeks a battery of performances of emergency.
The Town Planning Minister explained that "the actions have consisted of the taping of the different accesses to the infrastructure, the placement of a padlock at the door and the installation of bollards that prevent the passage of the roads located on both sides of the facilities ".
Ruiz Guillén recalled that "this is another of the historical demands that the PSOE have been making during the last years since the opposition and that, now, from the municipal government we have worked to execute immediately, emergency actions to stop the dangerous deterioration presented by these facilities. "
"There have been numerous occasions in which we ask the former municipal leaders to install speed up the procedures for the dressing and the improvement of the security in the environment to save this environment and avoid using this space for the practice of bottle and other undesirable activities, especially harmful to the residents of the area, "said the Councilor.
That is why, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, Councilor on whom the Public Security competences also fall, has announced "the increase of the police presence in the area to prevent the entry of people to the facilities and thus guarantee the tranquility of the neighbors of the place. "
For its part, the Edil de Fomento stressed that "accelerating the process to carry out emergency actions has been one of the first measures carried out by Diego José Mateos as mayor of Lorca" and also announced that "we will continue to claim the owners of real estate and private plots that comply with the regulations for the consolidation and conservation of their properties ".
Both councilors wanted to thank the owner of the infrastructure, Martín Carillo, and the company Murcilor for the work done and the speed with which they fulfilled the request made from the City of Lorca.
