The Councilor for Citizen Security of the City of Lorca, José Luis Ruiz Guillén has reported that tomorrow, Saturday, August 31, on the occasion of the Procession of the Virgin of Urkupiña, from 18 hours, access to the urban center will be cut off to the traffic by Spain Square, Alamo Street, Lope Gisbert, Prince Alfonso, Cuesta San Francisco, La Concordia Square, Nogalte and part of Pérez Casas Street with adjacent, on the occasion of this event.

The mayor of Public Safety has added that "parking will also be prohibited, from 15 hours tomorrow on the procession route".

Alternative itineraries will be established for all those vehicles that have to travel through the city: those up to 6 meters in length, except urban buses, authorized vehicles, those for loading-unloading, ford users and vehicles that go to the public parking from Plaza Colón, and the center of the city will be allowed to enter by Oval Avenida Juan Carlos I or vice versa.

The routes to be followed by vehicles with a length greater than 6 meters that have to travel through the city, tomorrow Saturday, except urban buses, will be Águilas, from Murcia, departure through the San Antonio neighborhood from the A-7 highway towards Ronda Sur and Autovía de Águilas, or Rotonda Barrio de Apolonia, Avda. Fuerza Armed, Avda. Paso Encarnado, Avda. Santa Clara, Poeta Para Vico street until Alameda Cervantes.

Those vehicles that from Águilas and the urban center have to go to Murcia will do it through Alameda Cervantes - Ronda Sur Barrio de San Antonio to the A-7 highway.

Those who go to Granada / Almería / Murcia from or to the city center towards Hospital or B ° Apolonia will have to do it by roundabout Apolonia, Avda. Armed Forces, Avda. Paso Encarnado (two senses) Avda. Europa, Juan Carlos I, Jerónimo Santa Fe street, Ctra. Granada.

The Local Police will monitor and signal these alternative vehicle transit itineraries, for a better development of traffic safety in our city.
