FERAMUR opens its doors in its XXXVI edition with more than 4,000 m2 of exhibition, as well as workshops, demonstrations and gastronomic tastings that complete the program (27/09/2019)

Until this Sunday you can enjoy the best crafts of our land, but also typical products from other locations in the Region and the national and international scene.

This noon has officially opened its doors, the XXXVI Craft Fair of the Region of Murcia (FERAMUR), an opening ceremony that has, among others, been attended by the mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, of the vice mayor and Councilor for Crafts, Francisco Morales, and the president of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras, among other personalities.

The Mayor has stressed that "Lorca is an artisan city that is committed to both crafts and proximity trade", and has referred to the inauguration, "in the near future, of the House of the Craftsman in which all traditional trades, so that we can continue to maintain that captaincy at the regional level in terms of crafts, and now even more with these new facilities. "

Mateos has once again insisted that "Lorca must be a city of fairs, among them, the celebration of Feramur, without which our September Fair and Festivities are no longer understood, since it is another important event of the extensive program of activities of the month September, and we hope that Lorca will continue many more years hosting this fair and contributing our experience in this matter ".

The First Mayor has also referred to the creation of the Fair Institution (Ifelor) that must become, he said, "in a regulatory and coordination framework between the different competent organizations, Chamber of Commerce, Ceclor, City Hall and Autonomous Community and that be an agile, efficient professional and independent body to get the most out of these facilities. "

Mateos has invited all Lorca and also all visitors who come to Lorca during these days to enjoy the Fair and Festivities to approach the Santa Quiteria Fairgrounds to learn more about the work of the nearly 100 artisans that meet this year in FERAMUR.

As usual, the fair also has live exhibitions of the elaboration of the different products, in addition to other activities such as workshops, demonstrations and gastronomic tastings that complete the programming of this regional event that every year brings together thousands of visitors

The Fair will be open from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. until this Sunday.
