Books and audiovisual material can be delivered for all audiences, but preferably for children and young people, until next October 30.
The Councilor for Education of the City of Lorca, Antonia Pérez, has reported that "the municipal network of libraries in Lorca will join the campaign to collect books in favor of libraries in the Region affected by DANA, an initiative put in March for the Murcia Regional Library, as head of the Public Libraries of the Region.
The mayor of Education has detailed that "the most affected library is the municipality of Los Alcázares, but others have also suffered damage such as Águilas, Torre Pacheco, or San Pedro del Pinatar."
In this way, in all the municipal libraries of Lorca, the books of individuals or institutions that want to collaborate until October 30 will be collected.
The bibliographic or audiovisual funds collected may be for all ages, but preferably for children and young people.
The books must have been edited in the last five years, and be new or in good condition, in addition funds from our Lorca libraries will also be donated.

Antonia Pérez has encouraged all Lorca and Lorca to participate in this campaign in favor of libraries that have been most affected by the rains in mid-September, "Lorca must once again demonstrate the solidarity character of its people and help those who need us most as they have done with us in similar circumstances with the earthquakes of May 2011 and the floods of September 2012 ".
