The plenary session of the Consistory of Lorca requested, at the end of last July, to urge the management of Area III of Health to call this body with the objective of analyzing the situation of health care in the municipality.

The Councilor for Health of the City of Lorca, José Ángel Ponce, has again insisted on the need to convene "as soon as possible" the Health Council of Area III.

This is the call for an organ of analysis of the situation of health care in the municipality and put on the table the needs presented by the whole of this health area.

Ponce recalled that "the Plenary of the City of Lorca last July agreed, with the unanimity of all parties, to urge the management of Area III and the Murcia Health Service to hold this meeting that has not yet occurred ".

The Mayor of Health has again requested the convening of this body that "is essential for us, as it must be a meeting in which professionals and those responsible for this area analyze in detail the situation that crosses the area III and decisions are taken that result in the improvement of health care and, ultimately, in the well-being of the citizens of Lorca and other municipalities. "

Given that management has not yet convened the council of area III, Ponce Díaz has reported that "the City Council, from the Department of Health, has re-registered this week a new request addressed to the management of area III reiterating the need to bring this body together, as soon as possible. "
