The Councilor for Social Welfare in the City of Lorca for the Popular Party, Mayte Martínez, has congratulated the imminent reopening of the nursery in San José de Calasanz.

This is very good news that has been possible thanks to the initiative of some entrepreneurs from Lorca that knew the situation thanks to the public complaint made by the Popular Party last August.

Mayte Martínez has stated that we are talking about a joy that benefits everyone.

The facilities will be filled again with life, specifically of children between the ages of 0 and 3, while it also constitutes a stimulus for the social movement of the area in which it is located, as well as for families whose children They can attend the nursery.

We must underline that the start-up of this service entails the immediate creation of 3 jobs directly (one cook and 2 caregivers).

The forecast that is managed by the promoters of the nursery is to reach a maximum of 60 seats, with the enrollment period open for all interested parties.

In fact next Monday, day 4 is expected to start the activity.

The councilor of the PP has stressed that from the PP we bet to repeat the experience that has been helpful so far, providing new services and activities to these facilities.

The ALCA (Alternative to the Street) program is currently being developed during this course, with the support of the Congregation of the Daughters of Charity, and thanks to the fact that since the Popular Party we show our commitment decided at the San José de Calasanz, multiplying by 6 municipal aid, reached € 30,000 contribution.

We are talking about a center located between the Ramblilla de San Lázaro and the San Pedro neighborhood, where multiple assistance projects for families at risk of exclusion have been developed by the Daughters of Charity of San Vicente de Paul, framed in the social work Santa Luisa de Marillac
