Fulgencio Gil demands that the supporting reports continue to be signed (12/12/2019)

The mechanism established for this purpose is fully operational and there is no excuse for the process to be blocked.

The PP signed in 3 months about 400 of these documents, but Citizens and PSOE have only signed 3 or 4 in the last 6 months

The spokesman of the Municipal Municipal Group in the City of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, has claimed this morning that the signing of the justification accounts that the Municipal Consistory was providing to the neighbors signed by the mayor, granting the legal guarantee that the victims suffered for the earthquakes they were claiming and for which an intense work task was carried out by the technicians and politicians of the public administrations.

We must remember that a task was carried out that was very complex, but that allowed us to offer a solution to hundreds of families.

Fulgencio Gil has indicated that until June these accounts were being initialed daily and without any problem, but after the arrival of the current local government, the mayor has stopped signing them, so they remain "embalmed", generating the consequent uncertainty to those affected, who do not understand what is happening.

We share the concern of these people, and request that these documents be re-signed.

It should be noted that the procedure that was launched at the time remains fully operational, and the current mayor can continue to issue these documents with full validity.

We left the normative tool in operation, and established the procedure for the issuance of these certifications with the signature of the mayor, together with that of the head of the regional administration.

Fulgencio Gil explained that in about 3 months I signed about 400 justifying accounts as mayor of Lorca, but with the arrival of the current government the process has stopped, to the point that apparently in the last 6 months only 3 have been signed or 4, and this despite the fact that there is a large number of these files requesting their signature.

It cannot be that some citizens have these justifying accounts and others do not.

We do not know the reasons, but I strongly ask the current mayor to compile all those presented in these 6 months, sign them and issue the corresponding certifications so that the neighbors can count on this document.

The Spokesman of the Popular Municipal Group has indicated that we need an explanation in this regard.

We know that from the current government they have requested the renewal of the agreement, but that is a mere formality that does not interrupt the procedure at all, so the current mayor can and should continue signing these reports.

It is not an obstacle to continue issuing those certifications that neighbors need so much.

The leader of the PP of Lorca has congratulated that the acting central government has had a good time after so much time of uncertainty to assess the possibility of extending the agreement established for the reconstruction of demolished homes as a result of the earthquakes of the year 2011 It was time.

In this sense, we consider that the normative or legal formula that must be articulated to carry out this extension of the term will most likely require the approval of a Royal Decree Law, so we do not understand why it will now be that the government can write a Royal Decree and before, as they said, no.

We propose that if a new Decree is finally drafted, this includes, in addition, the 50% bonus of the IBI, the remission of interests to those affected and the 3 million euros for works in districts that the central government has pending with our municipality.

What can not be is that a new incomplete decree is made, which is halfway, but the opportunity must be seized.
