The Councilors of Transportation and Public Companies of the City of Lorca, Irene Jodar and Francisco Morales, respectively, have presented, this morning, the new image that urban buses look.

The Councilor for Public Companies has detailed that "it is an updated image already under the management of the municipal cleaning company, Limusa, whose corporate symbol can already be seen in the main lines of the urban collective passenger transport of Lorca."

Morales has pointed out that "two of the longest vinyl vehicles have been put into circulation, which are responsible for linking the urban area with both the Rafael Méndez regional hospital and the Shopping Center, which are the most demanded, especially that go to Parque Almenara when they are already immersed in Christmas shopping and premieres in theaters for the holiday period. "

The mayor of Public Companies has stressed that "there is thus compliance with another of the objectives of the municipal company in charge of urban municipal transport management since September 1. What joins the uniforms of workers, the installation and improvement of the canopies and stops for users in coordination with the Department of Transportation, and now in the external image, all linked to the internal management work itself, among which the issuance of bonds for people with disabilities, retired , as well as for grassroots athletes and students, which is done from the Limusa headquarters, located in Plaza Ovalo ".

For its part, the mayor of Transport has added that "taking advantage of the launch of this information campaign, triptychs have been published and distributed in which the different forms of communication with the company, the main bonuses and reductions to which transport users appear collective public can choose, as well as the lines that are active. "

In addition, as Pérez pointed out "for a few weeks Limusa has launched the new own accounts in the social communication channels Facebook (LimusaLorca) and Twiter (@LimusaLorca) with the aim of spreading the news, as well as the route changes due to traffic cuts, and all the information that users of this public service usually demand, in addition to updating the web with this new service ".

It should be noted that currently Lorca has nine daily routes that link the urban center of the city with the Rafael Méndez Hospital and the Almenara Shopping Center, the Artés Carrasco stadium car park with the hospital, the Oval square with the deputations of Rio, Cazalla, Campillo, Santa Quiteria, a tour of the historic center to the Castle and a link to the Saprelorca Polygon to facilitate mobility for its workers.

"Also, several marquees and mupis of the city are updated by advertising the active lines next to the schedules, as well as the different routes, in addition to the planned stops, and everything can be seen from a single view," added the head of Transportation Irene Jodar.
