The mayor of Education explained that "this event, intended for children from 5 years, will be held in the Children's and Youth Library of Lorca, located on the 3rd floor of the Cultural Center of the City, at 12 hours."

This workshop will be taught by Carmen María Martínez Salazar, Bachelor of Fine Arts and Senior Technician of Plastic Arts and Design in Applied Arts of Sculpture.

Martínez has worked, above all, as a cultural educator and restorer.

He began in the interpretation of traditional music at an early age.

Since 2015, he has been a member of the 'Women with Root' group, which honors women in the oral tradition of southeastern Spain.

And since 2018 integrates the Quereres y Dejenes conference-concert, where an approach is made to the study of gender identity through the popular songbook of Murcia.

It also carries out traditional singing courses and in 2015 it started the traditional ARTE project, which combines the two lines of work: Art and tradition.

Workshops of traditional themes and plastic and musical cutting, whose activity has been growing, developing and adapting to other disciplines such as poetry and social memory, always with heritage and with a plastic discourse through the fine arts.

The Councilor for Education has encouraged all parents "to take their children so they can learn Christmas carols, as well as play traditional instruments."
